Had a good productive day. Even my _coughs_ were productive. Anyhow, I helped BJ get the regal doing it's thing (i.e. running long enough so we could adjust the mix without it stalling), and had a good dinner with he, Paul, and Ross, whom I don't get to see often enough.

Seems like Ross is having roomate troubles too. Poor dude. He's also got about 10 stitches in his face right now but I envy him for that more than anything. I envy his metamorphosis from a partying heavy angry smoker to a healthy, happy, active biker. I envy the brutal reality of falling and scraping parts of your face off and getting them stitched back together. Whatever; what a silly thing, to envy reality.

[livejournal.com profile] anadball and I are planning and hosting a pre-preliminaries (mar. 9) "discussion party" where we will be discussing the different candidates in an unbiased and objective way. Our goal is not to push our views onto anyone...in fact, quite the opposite. I, for one, know for a fact I don't know all there is to know about the candidates and would like to know more, so I really have no views to push anyhow. Our goal is to educate each other and ourselves about who is vying for the control of our country and whom we should support. If this sounds like something that you might like to be involved in, please leave a comment or call me. It's really informal, we'll probably have some food and alcohol and other fun stuff, but we just want to make sure as many people as possible are educated and care enough to vote. It's a cool reason to get together and a good subject to get our heads around anyhow. It'll be fun! Everyone gets a free handjob. I'm lying.

And for anyone who hasn't registered to vote yet, follow the links I posted a few entries ago....It's a damn easy web-based form, and when you are done, all you have to do is print it out, add a stamp, and drop it in a mailbox (make sure it's postmarked by feb 9, that is...monday). It's so easy! In fact, it's so easy that the 92 year old lady who is itching to vote against education, public transport, and the arts - who also almost ran you off the road the other day in her big old cadillac - could do it. And has. I hope this makes sense.
